Welcome to Gilcar Farm holiday cottages

Located in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, in Emley near Huddersfield, you’ll find Gilcar Farm - a collection of three unique holiday cottages each renovated to the same high standards from previously unused farm buildings.

Two of the three self-catering cottages - The Blacksmiths Shop and Six Mistle - have been designed to allow easy access for wheelchair users, including level access, wet rooms/showers and ground floor bedroom facilities.

These luxurious cottages also benefit from being within easy access of the M1, making them a great base from which to explore the whole of Yorkshire.
